§ 1-11. Miscellaneous ordinances not affected by Code.

  • Nothing in this Code or the ordinance adopting this Code shall affect any of the following:

    (1)

    Any ordinance or resolution providing or guaranteeing the payment of money for the county or authorizing the issue of any bonds of the county or any evidence of the county's indebtedness, or any contract or obligation assumed by the county;

    (2)

    The administrative ordinances or resolutions of the board of supervisors not in conflict or inconsistent with the provisions of this Code;

    (3)

    Any annual tax levy;

    (4)

    Any right or franchise conferred by ordinance or resolution of the board of supervisors on any person or corporation;

    (5)

    Any ordinance relating to the salaries of the county officers or employees;

    (6)

    Any ordinance naming, opening, accepting or vacating streets or alleys in the county;

    (7)

    Any ordinance relating to rezoning, or amending a zoning map;

    (8)

    Any ordinance dedicating or accepting any plats of subdivisions;

    (9)

    Any ordinance adopted for purposes which have been consummated;

    (10)

    Any ordinance which is temporary, although general in effect, or special, although permanent in effect;

    and all such ordinances and resolutions are recognized as continuing in full force and effect to the same extent as if set out at length in this Code.
