§ 13. Service to local governmental occupied buildings and public schools.

  • Upon request from the county, grantee shall provide for the reception of basic service as such is currently and hereinafter defined, to each of the following county-owned buildings: county administrative building, fire department main building and rescue squad main building and the county high school building.

    As part of grantee's obligations pursuant to this section 13, grantee shall, at its own cost, install all necessary equipment for the reception of basic service, including without limitation the following:

    (a)

    One cable television service drop connecting one television set for the reception of basic service in each of the aforementioned buildings; and

    (b)

    An appropriate antenna or satellite dish as may be required to provide immediate service to the county high school building.

    Service to the county administrative building, fire department main building and rescue squad main building shall not be provided until such time as cable lines are extended to the Cumberland County Courthouse area pursuant to section 7 of this ordinance.

    The monthly service to each of the aforementioned television outlets shall be at no cost to the county, fire department and rescue squad, or the county public schools. Installation of additional television sets will be billed to the department or agency requesting such installation in accordance with grantee's prevailing installation and monthly service charges or if custom work is required, at time and materials.
